Miss Rodeo Alaska 2015 Chaps

The "chaps" were a headache to think about... as much as I loved my job as Miss Rodeo Alaska, the daunting task of creating a set of beautiful chaps to lead me through my year seemed so hard.

But along came Elizabeth Armstrong Koppes of Rockin' K Ranch Custom Leather . I told her I wanted my name, title, the northern lights with some mountains.. and she outdid herself.

The chaps had a beautiful metallic blue base, painted trees, northern lights, stars that mimicked our state flag stars, and mountains carved out in the leather yoke with beautiful northern lights painted in the background. The most amazing part. the colors of fringe she painstakingly arranged and sewed on.

Elizabeth made my year and time in Vegas AMAZING!

I was looking forward to showing those bad boys off the most, wearing them everywhere I could, as often as I could. They were mine, and they were beautiful!
